Massey Oaks is planned as Pearland’s premier master planned community. The project name, Massey Oaks, pays tribute to the mature live oaks and other hardwood trees on the Massey tract, which were planted by the Massey family and will be substantially preserved. With total land area of approximately 356 acres, the project site is entitled for up to 950 units, ranging in size from 55’ to 85’ in width. With an emphasis of mature tree preservation, open space, and recreational features, the community will be Pearland’s newest master plan.
Massey Oaks Development, LP, a CPNV company, has successfully achieved all entitlements for the project including:
Approved Development Agreement
Approved Planned Development Handbook
Legislatively created Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 69
Annexed all land into the City or Pearland’s corporate limits
Existing quality trees will be preserved along McKeever Road, down the ranch entry road off McKeever, and in a grove east of the entry road. The existing ranch entry road will become the central spine street that extends south and east across future Harkey Road into the Rodgers tract. A series of amenity lakes providing storm water detention are planned throughout the property that are interconnected by the central spine street. The street will have spacious landscape buffers with sidewalks and trails along its entire length. Plentiful access and visibility will be provided to the lakes. Recreational amenities, new tree plantings, and homeowners’ association parks will be located along the lakes.
